Edge beveler handle ONLY

I was about to order a couple of edge bevellers and was choosing a wood colour when I realised I’ve never heard about any of those woods before and decided to google them. Turns out EACH wood available to purchase is in an endangered or at least vulnerable category of the IUCN Red List (endangered means “Very high risk of extinction in the wild” and vulnerable is high risk). I realised that while shopping solely for a leather crafting tool I’m also involved in a rare woods trade, which for me is absolutely unnecessary. Presumably most other leather crafters don’t need a wooden handle from an endangered specie either, since we want the best tool for the job, not a rarity ready for a museum. On this note I wish Palosanto would tell more about sourcing of their woods, as well as introduce more common wood choices so that I can have a somewhat clearer consciousness buying them.
Rating of three stars is of no meaning since I made no purchases yet, but I wish to since the tools appear to be very treasured amongst the community for their great quality.

I ordered an edge beveler in a #1 and ordered a #0 blade. Hoping on a budget I could just switch it out when needed but not so much the # 1 hex fasteners are stripped from the factory. Sucked but I embraced it . I love these bevels and already decided I would break down and get a handle. Works as it should but will always wonder what am I going to do when it wears out.
